Likewise, the statue album. I have been walking, and wherever I turn in this city there is a bronze statue staring down at me. I would guess that there is one bronze per every ten people in the city. That’s a lot of metal!

Ugly is right, but I think he was just pissed that you took his picture. There seems to be an extraordinary amount of cats roaming the city. Are they feral?
Yes, there are lots of wild cats in the city. Most Japanese cities seem to be full of them. One old man told me you can’t kill them or you’ll get “THE CURSE OF THE CAT” on you. He was serious. Anyway, it makes for fun photography.
